Wellspring Family Centre
Wellspring Family Centre was established in April 2004 by Wellspring Family Church to facilitate professional, high quality community projects that address key social needs in Dereham and the surrounding areas. Now based in permanent premises @ 35 Neatherd Rd the Charity is developing a reputation for offering excellent hospitality to other users and partners. Are activities are made available to all. We are committed to equal opportunities and child protection. The Wellspring Family Centre premises has 4 rooms with the folllowing capacities: Main Hall: 80 people sitting; large meeting room on the 2nd floor: 20 people, Medium meeting room 12: people on the ground floor; small room on the 2nd floor: 8 people.There is slso free parking, flip charts, data projector, catering with a cafe type bar in the main hall. HOPEFUL - this name encompasses a range activities for young people including a detached outreach programme on Friday nights which involves street work and a minibus as a drop-in and base for the youth workers.
Well-come – Well-come helps people recovering from mental illness to build confidence and life skills to support themselves in independent living and learn to live interdependently with others in order to support and encourage successful rehabilitation and to reduce their chance of relapse. MAD club is a weekly kids club for local children aged 4-9. Games, songs, stories and other activities are hosted by a team of volunteers.
